The Uganda Wildlife Authority is shaking things up in the wild! making changes in conservation tariffs! Get ready for an adventure upgrade starting July 1st, 2024. After deep consultations and market research, they’re revamping their fees for primate trekking across four stunning national parks.
What’s the scoop? Well, for our globe-trotting friends, the price for gorilla trekking is stepping up to $800 from $700. Meanwhile, if you’re swinging into Kibale Forest National Park for a chimp encounter, the permit fee is climbing to $250 from $200. And if you’re all about that VIP chimp experience, the Habituation permit is now $300, up from $250.
But wait, there’s more! Dive into the lush Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth National Park and you’ll find the chimpanzee permit doubled to $100 from $50.
