3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park

The 3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari will take you to Ugandas most visited National Park, it covers an area 1,978 sq.km, found in the Western part of the country, approximately 376 km from Kampala. It is classified with various ecosystems such as the dazzling lakes, kazinga channel, extensive savannah, humid forests and also lush wetlands.

The park is home to about 100 mammal species, around 606 bird species: you will be in line to see big numbers of antelopes, crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffaloes, among others during game drives through the park and on a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel which bisects the park. The park is also home to Climbing lions that are found in the Ishasha Sector, Chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge and also various birds and monkeys in the Maramagambo forest.

Day 1: Travel from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up early and enjoy a morning breakfast at your hotel. Your guide will pick you up at 7:30 am, briefing you before the 6-hour journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, stop at the Equator for photos and in Mbarara town for lunch. Drive through the spectacular landscape, reaching the park in the late afternoon. Engage in a game drive before settling into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Safari

Start the day with coffee/tea before a game drive along the Kasenyi trail. Encounter waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, elephants, buffaloes, lions, and various bird species. Return to your lodge for breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a 2-hour boat safari along the Kazinga channel, witnessing hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, warthogs, elephants, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Departure to Kampala

Begin the day with a hearty breakfast, relishing the memories of the past two days. Check out, opting for a primate walk if desired. Enjoy lunch on the way, with a stop at the Mpambire drum center for souvenirs. Continue the journey to Kampala, where you will be dropped off at your hotel in the evening.
